We were living just outside the Bay area of California, in 1974 and preparing for our move back to Texas where my husband (at the time) planned to find work as a park ranger. Prepping two little boys (ages 3 and 4) for our trip, I taught them how to sing “The Eyes of Texas” and “Yellow Rose of Texas”. Those were priceless times. Wish I had videos to relive them.
